How
One phone
- One phone is all it takes: in the middle of the table, or passed from hand to hand.
Same room
For friends gathered around one table.
How a round works
- The reader sees the card in secret and says it into the phone.
- The phone plays it backwards: hand it to the guesser.
- The guesser copies the backwards sound, and the phone flips their copy round.
- Guess the card out loud. The guesser reads the next one.
How it plays
One phone
One player says a name into the phone and it plays back backwards. The next copies that gibberish as well as they can; the phone flips the copy round, and out comes something almost recognisable. Guess what it was.
