Delete in the app
- Open Aura and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. Deletion is done only inside the app; if you have uninstalled it, install it again and sign in with the same Google or Apple account.
What is deleted
- Your profile (display name, avatar, country, bio, email, language settings)
- Your friendships, friend requests, blocks and notifications
- All your text and voice messages (for the people you talked to as well)
- Your game records and points
- Your device notification tokens and sessions
What is kept
- Reports you made about others are kept for the community's safety, with your identity removed from them.
- Database backups may hold a copy of deleted data for up to 90 days, after which it is gone completely.
- Technical diagnostic records with your identity removed, and size-capped server logs, may remain for a short time.
